Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento
Ashton Blaise Whitty, born November 1, 1995 was born in Berkeley, California. She is an actor, famous for Choices (2010), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006) and Chrissie Mayr's Content House (2022).
Asia Argento began her career as an actor as an actress in Rome. She is part of a family that also comprises of filmmakers. The Church was directed by Michele Soavi. Red Wood Pigeon was the next year, and Asia was Nanni's daughter. Close Friends was written by Michele Placido and was directed by her. It was at this point that Asia's career started to grow, and she moved from girlish roles to mature and complex ones. Cannes International Film Festival was a great success for the film. Daria Nicole Nicolodi was Argento's favorite actress and performed the role of a girl searching for her parents killer in Trauma. Asia's intense way of performing was well used in Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato a nozze. The actress co-starred alongside Carlo Verdone in Perdiamoci di perspective as Arianna the girl with physical handicap. The complex and demanding character earned her the David di Donatello award for Best actress. In 1995 she worked together along with Michel Piccoli to produce Peter Del Monte Compagna di viaggio and won the David di Donatello. Asia started directing in the year 1994 and released two short films as well as an episode of the film De Generazione. In 1996, she produced a documentary about her father. She also produced AbelAsia is a feature film about the famous film maker Abel Ferrara. In 1998, Asia directed AbelAsia, which was awarded by the Rome Film Festival. Asia's feature directing debut was Scarlet Diva where she played the lead actress and also wrote the screenplay. The film premiered in the month of May in Italy as well as around the world. The Williamsburg Film festival in Brooklyn, New York awarded the film with a top prize.
